Zachary J. Thise, 34 of Lafayette, passed away Sunday, October 9th. born in Lafayette, March 27th1982. He was the son of Mark and Dorothy Thise of Lafayette who survive. Also surviving is daughter Maddison Anna Thise, sister Bernadette Baugh of Lafayette, brothers Cyrus Thise of Tucson, AZ , Nathaniel Thise of Phoenix, AZ. and grandmother Luella A. Thise also of Lafayette. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 2000. He was an auditor and inspector for the state of Indiana at Area IV. He was highly respected and valued among his co-workers and management. He was recently chosen to be the spokesman in a video celebrating the 40-year anniversary of the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) under the auspices of the Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority (IHCDA). Zack was a loving and caring father and son. Maddison was the center of his universe. They enjoyed going to the park and playing Shopkins together. He touched many lives with his kindness and generosity. Always a hard worker, he would do anything to help someone in need of his talents and expertise. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been set up for Maddison Thise at Centier Bank.Visitation will be Thursday October 13, 2016 from 3pm -6pm Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. A Memorial Mass 1:30 pm Monday Oct. 17, 2016 at St. Boniface Catholic Church Fr. Timothy Alkire officiating.
