William J. Armstrong, 86, of Lafayette died Monday, November 18, 2013, at Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital. He was born July 20, 1927, in Lafayette, IN, to the late William and Flora Feltmayer Armstrong. William worked as a mechanic at Lester's Radiator Service for 28 years and is retired. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving is his brother Robert Armstrong wife Rosemary, a sister Betty Baker, nephews Bob Armstrong Jr. and John Erwin all of Lafayette. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to a 1:30 PM service on Thursday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Burial will be at Dayton Cemetery.
