Virginia L. Covey

July 5, 1930 - August 2, 2022

Virginia L. Covey, 92, of Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at The Springs.  She was born July 5, 1930, in Forest, IN, to the late Russel and Doras Kanable.  Her marriage was to Charles Covey and he preceded her in death in 2000.  Virginia had worked at General Foods for many years.

Surviving are her daughters Cynthia L. Batta, Jill D. Ravenscraft of both of Lafayette, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.  Virginia was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter.  Also surviving are her siblings Joy (Roy) Woodruff, David and Phil Michael.  A private service will be held on Friday.
