My dearest Friends, Red, Kathy and Sandy
It is with deep sorrow I bring to you this day on the passing of your beloved wife
and mother. Words can not express how i feel today. Jenny was like a big sister to
me when I lived in Lafayette during my school years. To know Jenny was but a call away was a comfort to me. I know that you are all hurting right now and there are no
words that express the deep sorrow you feel. I know, you know Jenny is with God. I
have always prayed every night for your family because you felt like my family. So
tonight at prayers I will ask God to place you all in his loving arms. Your sorrow can
not be taken away, that only comes with time but the memories (OH THE MEMORIES)
will last forever. I will spend the next weeks remembering all the good times Jenny and I had during my time above your family home. They were such good times. We cried, laughed and just had so much fun. I remember the night Garry and i came back to Lafayette, after just getting married just three days earlier, to my apartment
Its was Christmas Eve, all the stores were closed for the holiday back then, and the family was getting ready to leave for KY for the holidays. If it had not been for Jenny, Garry and I would have starved that holiday season. Jenny found us food from her
storage unit. We had Roasted Chicken, potato&s and corn. We even had a pie for dessert. We didn&t think about the food problem when we came back to my apartment that Christmas but your mother/wife came thru in flying colors. She was always there for me I will never forget her or all of you. My love always, a very devoted extended family friend. Linda (Bo) and Garry Van Camp
