Velma Louise (McKim) Hall, 93, of Lafayette, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Traditions (formerly Five Star) of Lafayette.
She was born September 4, 1932, in Morocco, IN, to the late Irving and Effie (Schanlaub) McKim. She was a graduate of Brook High School. On May 22, 1950, she married Chester (Chet) R. Hall in Brook. Chet preceded in her death April 12, 2009.
Velma loved the Lord and was a committed member of Crestview Community Church, where she was very active in all church activities. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, bingo, and euchre. Velma loved wintering in Sarasota, FL.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Kathryn (Charles) Anderson, Vicki (Michael) Mason, and Dorothy (Keith) McClannen; 13 grandchildren, Tamyra (Michael) Matheu, Joseph Anderson, Kristin (Ashley) Hon, Daniel (Shawna) Mason, Peter (Christina) Mason, Benjamin (Megan) Mason, Jennifer (Rayeed) Ott, Nicholas (Jena) Ott, Jacob (Jessi) Ott, Angela McFarland, Christina Hall, Melissa (Carlos) Guevara, and Bradley (Bobbi) Hall. Velma was also blessed with many great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and another on the way.
Along with her husband Chet and her parents, Irving and Effie, she was preceded in death a son, Charles Hall and a brother, Robert McKim.
Memorial contributions in Velmas’ name may be given to the Crestview Community Church.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Mausoleum at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. 1718 W. 350 N., West Lafayette, IN 47906 with Pastor Todd Hair officiating.
