Troy A. Warner, 58, of Lafayette, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at his home.  He was born January 4, 1963, in Marion, Indiana.  He was a 1981 graduate from Lafayette Jefferson High School.

Troy worked at Indiana Steel for 20  years and was a chef at the Eagles Lodge #347.  He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #347 and was an avid NASCAR and Cub’s fan.

Troy enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, classic rock, antiques, Budweiser Collectables and was an animal lover.

Surviving along with his wife Cheryl M. Weigle, are his children Jacob and Skylar, his father Thomas South of Lafayette, sisters Teresa A. Mogle (James), Janie L. Amstutz, Tammy L. Warwick (Tom Rebman) all of Lafayette.  Also surviving are nieces Danielle, Nikki, Mandi, Brook, Kelsie, Jada, Hannah,  nephews Steven, Matthew, Casey, Kalob, Cody, Joshua, Justin, Keegan and several great nieces and nephews.

Troy was preceded in death by his mother Marianne (Crose) South and a brother-in-law Allen Amstutz.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd.  Private interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery.
