Tracy Amber Bondurant, 43, of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 in her residence.

She was born February 18, 1980, in Lafayette, to Franklin and Nadina (Straws) Bondurant. She was a graduate of Wuerzberg High School in Wuerzberg, Germany and attended Ivy Tech Community College. Tracy worked as an office manager and agent for Insurance Solutions From Amber in Lafayette.

Tracy was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, enjoyed watching her favorite TV show, “The First 48”, reading, camping, and spending time with her family.

Tracy is survived by 3 of her children, Emile Ann Darnell, John Tanner Darnell, Madison Paige Jean Darnell; 4 step-children, Makayla Bloyd, William Bloyd, Hailey Bloyd, Zak Bloyd; her parents, Franklin Bondurant, and Nadina Ann Bondurant; her sister, Sarah (James) Wheeler, her fiancée, Nathan Andrew Bloyd and ex-husband, John L Darnell.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rayleigh Ann Bloyd; nephew, Trenton Wheeler; grandmother, Phyllis (Stevens) Young; great-grandfather, Raymond Stevens; great-grandmother, Anna-Mary (Wise)Stevens; aunt, Debra (Straws) Archer; grandfather, Franklin Lee Bondurant; grandmother, Mae V (Hammond) Bondurant; 2 uncles, David L. Bondurant and Robert L. Bondurant.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until time of service at 3:00 pm, Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909.

Interment will follow at Meadow View Cemetery, 3733 Poland Hill Rd., Lafayette, IN 47909.
