Emerick, 53 Timothy J.”Tim” Emerick, 53, of Charleston, SC,formerly of Lafayette died on Tuesday March 26, 2013 at Residence in Charleston, S C He was born February 12, 1960, in Lafayette, IN, to James G. and Virginia L. “Ginny “Eubank Emerick. He graduated from McCutcheon High School class of 1978 , earned his BS in Animal Sciences from Purdue University 1982. In June of 1982 he married Kim Mellon and they later divorced. Tim worked for Farm Bureau in Indianapois, Clinton county as a Extension agent, Eli Lilly in quality control, Purdue University as an Inspector in the State Chemist Dept.and worked for United Feeds quality control in Sheridan,IN. Tims special interests agriculture,farming . He oved the outdoors,camping, Ford trucks. He was a 10 year member of the Tippecanoe County 4-H. He was a history buff especially interested in Abraham Lincoln sharing the same birthday. Tim was a loyal Pudue alumni, Huge Boilermaker fan, Volunteer for the West Point Fire Dept. and a member of the West Point United Methodist church. Surviving are Son- Earl D. Emerick- Attica Daughter- Sarah V. Emerick- Attica Mother- Virginia L. “Ginny' Emerick- West Point Sister- Kristine K. Emerick- West Point Brother- David J. Emerick wife Gail- Crawfordsville Nephew – Carter Norsworthy- West point Nephew – Garrett Emerick- Crawfordsville Niece- Kenzie Emerick- Crawfordsville Former wife – Kim Mellon Emerick- Attica Visitation will be 5PM-8PM Tuesday April 2, 2013 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel Funeral Service 11AM Wednesday at West Point United Methodist Church Pastor Jeff Stedge – officiating. Burial will be at West Point Cemetery . Preceded in death by his father James G. Emerick Family request memorial donations be given to the : Greater Lafayette, IN.
