Thomas F. Sipes, 75, of Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at St. Anthony Health Care.
He was born January 16, 1942 in Attica to the late Paul and Jessie Rater Sipes Sr. Thomas attended Lafayette Jefferson High School where he ran track and cross country. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Thomas worked as a laborer for United Van Lines, Mayflower, and Munzier Moving and Storage for over 40 years.
Thomas enjoyed playing solitaire, was an avid fan of Purdue Women's Basketball, and cherished time spent with family and friends.
Surviving are his brother, Homer Lee Sipes of Lafayette; sisters, Rosemary(Penny) Wright of West Lafayette, Nancy Little of Shadeland; and half-brother, Paul S. Sipes Jr. (wife Mary) of Otterbien.
Visitation will be from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, Friday July 7, 2017 at Soller- Baker Funeral Home, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Funeral Service will follow at 1:30 pm. Interment immediately following at Riverside Cemetery in Attica.
