The son of Albert and the late Betty Goodrich, he was born March 17, 1945, in the Brooklyn Naval Yards, NY. He was married to his best friend Carol Quick on May 30, 1970, with whom he made his family and amazed every day with his sense of humor, ability to take on a challenge and surprise her at any moment. He is survived by his wife, Carol of West Lafayette; his father, Albert of Southern Pines, NC; two brothers David (Gail) and Jim (Lyn), three children John, Elizabeth (Adam) and their children Noah and Penelope, and Kathryn (Andy) and their son Eli.
