Thelma Joyce “Joyce” Yeoman, 81, of Peru, IN formerly of Lafayette, passed away Monday, February 12, 2024, at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru, IN.

She was born November 17, 1942, in Watseka, IL to the late William Thomas and Mary Etta (Santerelli) Harrison.
Joyce graduated from East Tipp High School and attended classes at Ivy Tech College. She worked as a financial counselor for Arnett Clinic and the staff and patients really appreciated her willingness to help whenever she was needed.

She enjoyed shopping online and from HSN and QVC, but she really enjoyed the deals she would find at Goodwill, Salvation Army, and at garage sales. She would get so excited when she found boots, cowboy hats, and leather coats at a bargain price – which she did quite often, her closet proved that. She was an animal lover and loved her dogs, Shen, Wylie, Uno, Streak, and Piper.

Joyce is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Eric Eichenberger) Yeoman of Baldwin, MI; 3 nephews, Mark Vincent Yeoman of Key West, FL; Dr. Jon David Harrison of San Diego, CA, and Curt Yeoman of Lafayette; 3 nieces, Marietta Yeoman Griffith of Indianapolis, Deanna Yeoman Dune of Fort Myer, Fl, and Jessica Harrison of San Diego, CA; and brother-in-law, Frank (Sally) Yeoman of Indianapolis.

Along with her parents, Bill and Mary, she was preceded in death by her brother, David A. Harrison.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a future date.
