Tamara “Tammy” J. (Chamberlin) Turpin, 65, of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly at her Dr’s office on March 8, 2023.
She was born September 14, 1957, in Williamsport, to the late Kenneth Lee and Hazel Oveta (Osborne) Chamberlin. Tammy was a graduate of Attica High School. On July 27, 1975, she married the love of her life, Mark Anthony Turpin in Attica. Tammy was a proud homemaker and loved being home with their 3 terrific children, Michelle, Brandy, and Brice.
She enjoyed shopping, especially at her favorite store, “Keepers”, she loved being outside, talking on the phone, and cooking/baking. She made amazing brownies and chocolate chip cookies. Above all, she cherished time spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her 3 children, Michelle (Troy) Mason of Dayton, Brandy Turpin of Lafayette, and Brice (Gretchen) Turpin of Lafayette; 6 grandchildren, Kourtney, Jordan, Kayla, Cody, Audrey, and Myla; 1 great-grandson, Easton; a brother, Kent Chamberlin of AZ; Aunt, Betty Pearl; Uncle, Frank “Tub” Pearl; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Hazel Chamberlin.
