Stanley Eugene Gipson, 76, of Dayton, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Sidey & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was born June 9, 1949, in Lafayette, Indiana, to Elmer and Leatha Lintner Gipson.

Stanley attended Wainwright High School. He was a veteran. Stanley worked for Kenny Connors Builders for many years. He enjoyed and loved to talk all about farming. His hobbies were wood-working, collecting NASCAR Diecast cars, and muscle cars.

Stanley was a loving caretaker of his sister Judy for many years.

Stanley’s memory is cherished by his siblings, Judy Kay Gipson of Dayton and Larry Dean (Cookie) Gipson of Stockwell; nieces, Paulette Payne, Teresa Hendren, Rebecca (Ted Laythrop), Shawnda (Gordon), Lumley; nephew, Brandon Gipson.

Stanley was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Eugene Gipson and mother, Leatha Bernice (Lintner) Gipson; and sister, Zelda DeYoung (Gorden DeYoung).

Visitation will be Friday, April 17, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Soller Baker Funeral Homes and Crematory – Lafayette Chapel.

Funeral Committal Ceremonies are Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 10:45 a.m. at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum, West Lafayette, Indiana.
