Sondra Lee Griswold, 77, of Lafayette, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at her home surround by her beloved family.  She was born October 14, 1940, in Lafayette to the late Forrest Funk and Betty Krug Funk Bushong.   

On November 30, 1956, she married Dallas E. Griswold  in Lafayette and he preceded her in death on March 15, 2018.  

Sondra worked for CTS, in West Lafayette, for many years.  After retiring from CTS she worked at Riggs Community Health Center for 3 years.  She was a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church and enjoyed crafts, gardening and reading.

Surviving are her children Frieda (Melvin) Phillips of Lafayette, Diana (Jim) Venable of West Lafayette, Cynthia (Bruce) Keller of Lafayette, Dallas (Elaine) Griswold, Jr., Randy Griswold all of West Point, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Also surviving are her siblings Mary Fox, Linda Bray, Forrest “Sonny” (Wilma) Funk and Alva Funk all of Lafayette.   Sondra was preceded in death by a great grandson Keifer Reagin.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 1024 Elizabeth Street, Lafayette.

Service will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, Pastor Terry Chase officiating.  Interment will be at Sandridge Cemetery West Lafayette, IN.
