As a child, your Mom teaches you to tie your shoes, makes you PBJ sandwiches, mends your wounds, and is a teacher and much more; as an adult, your Mom is your confidante, your wedding dress critiquer, your recipe sharer, your baby-sitter, and your mentor. Forever, your Mom will be in your heart filling it with love and happy memories. I wish you the sincerest of condolences in your time of grief.

It’s times like this that makes us think Life isn’t fair even though we know our Loved Ones are in Jesus Hands when they leave us. So sorry for the sadness this brings and wish there was some way to take the pain away. (( hugs))

I met Sheryl over 20 years ago when she first came to Calvary Chapel. I remember her sitting in a pue with her daughter, Stephanie. I still remember waving at Stephanie that Sunday , and she waved back with a smile, and we became instant friends. From that time on, I saw Sheryl and Stephanie every week.Sheryl always had a smile on her face and the most beautiful red hair. I noticed that It always looked so perfectly in place:) She was a beautiful woman.I remember her laughing a lot , mostly at her daughter, Stephanie whenever she cracked a joke. Over the years, She drove Steph and I to church camp, the movies and the mall before we could drive When I was in college, she and Steph came to see me in The Marriage of Figaro , and recently, came to see me sing at the Long Center with Stephanie and Olivia. I remember how dedicated she was to her family and to church ministry. She served in children’s ministry and attended the weekly women’s Bible study. Sheryl came to my wedding before she was diagnosed with cancer. She came and celebrated with my family - and even danced at my wedding despite the pain she was having at the time. I can hardly believe she is no longer with us, and my heart is heavy for her church family - who lost a dedicated saint, as well as her her immediate family. I take comfort that one day we will see her again. Sheryl, Thankyou for your friendship, your care for my family and the church family- you made your world a better place and my life is richer for having known you. See you there - Julie Posey

I did not know Sheryl personally, but knew her through Robin Clark. She sounded like a wonderful person and someone I would like to have known. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. May she Rest In Peace as her pain is now gone. God bless you all
