Bill and all the Powers family, Sharon was a special lady. She was a great room mom, always active in school for ber children. School Date Books was an awesome addition to all schools at all levels. Prayers for all of you as you adjust to life without her here on earth. Now you have a special guardian angel.

My favorite memories of Sharon are: her love for her family, searching on the internet for news or fun facts, laughing together, her positive outlook on life, her ability to see the best in everyone, her love for plants, birds and relaxing on the back porch, coney dogs at Dog n Suds, her telling me about her luncheons and playing cards with her wonderful friends (she really loved winning), playing Yahtzee (she won all but one), playing Scrabble (good grief she took forever looking for words with the most points! LOL!!!). Sharon was an amazing woman who loved and lived life to the fullest! What an honor to have known her (and her family).

My sincere condolences to the entire family for your loss. Mrs. Powers was always welcoming and wonderful to me and my family growing up. Allowing us sometimes just to walk into her house unannounced and visit in her warm, cozy kitchen and home. It was like an extension of our home. Such fond memories of having truly the best neighbors. May she rest in peace. ❤️

I always said Sharon had one of the kindest hearts I’ve ever known. As busy as she was with her children and grandchildren, she and Bill were always ready to lend a helping hand. It has been a honor to be her sister-in-law. I will miss her terribly, but I will honor her by trying to follow her example.
