Sara Elizabeth Goode, 36, passed away at IU Health on June 18, 2021. She was born on October 6, 1984 to Linda Greenwood-Goode and Brent Goode, and resided her whole life in Lafayette.

Sara loved vacationing at Disney with her family, and especially loved Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Sara attended day services at Shine On University which she looked forward to daily.

Sara will be remembered as having a beautiful smile.  Although Sara could not communicate verbally, she was able to communicate using sounds and gestures. She would greet people with a big smile and a squeal.

Sara is survived by her mother, Linda Goode, father, Brent (Tamara) Goode, sister, Jessica (Rob) Jones, nephew, Mason, and nieces, Mady and Molly Jones. She is also survived by aunts, Debbie (Duane) Greenwood-Hamilton and Colleen Goode and several cousins.

Sara was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Betty and Emmett Greenwood and paternal grandparents, Donnabelle and William Goode.

Sara resided in her mother’s care for most of her life. She had 2 special care providers, Liz Woodcock and Heather Hutcheson. We are forever thankful for their care and love for Sara.

Services will be held on Monday, June 21 at 3:00 pm at Soller-Baker Funeral Home in Lafayette. Family will greet visitors beginning at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Linda Goode to help defray funeral expenses.
