Sandra Ann Mosser, beloved wife, adored Mother, and cherished Nana passed away unexpectedly on November 6, 2021.

She was born October 29, 1957, to the late Edward J. and Catherine Ann Abell in Quantico, VA.

Sandy met the love of her life, Tom W. Mosser the very first night of their freshmen year of college at Western Kentucky University. He pointed to the most beautiful woman he had ever seen and said, “I’m going to meet that girl before the night is through.” They were married on June 8, 1979.

Sandy took pride in being an adopted mother to her neighbors and all her children’s dearest friends. She was passionate about welcoming these chosen loved ones into her home and making them feel as loved and cherished as her own. She also loved horses and her dogs, often taking strays into her home.

Sandy adored her three children: Jessica Mosser of Indianapolis, Crystal Mosser Anderson (Justin) of Alexandria, VA, and Bobby Mosser (Kelly) of Indianapolis. She also cherished her three grandchildren: Elena and Robert Anderson and Gwendolyn Mosser. She was also thrilled to know there was another one on the way!

Sandy is survived by her husband (Tom), her mother (Catherine) and five brothers and sisters: Gail Hendrick (Glen), Jerry Abell (Diane), Kathy Hall (Dan), Chris Abell (Leonie) and Kenny Abell (Julie).

Visitation is from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, Nov 11, 2021, at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am, Friday, Nov 12, 2021, at St. Mary’s Cathedral. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be given to Almost Home Humane Society, 1705 S. 2^nd St., Lafayette, IN 47905.
