Ruth Hale, 89, of Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at IU Health Arnett Hospital.

She was born May 4, 1933, in Georgia to the late B. and Lila (Spivey) Bundrick.

On August 15, 1950, she married Hardie Hale. He preceded her in death in August of 1977.

Ruth worked over 25 years as a retail clerk for Kmart before retiring.

She was a member of Harvest Chapel and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, walking and working in the garden.

Surviving are children, Sandy (Mike) Aldridge of Lafayette, Patricia (James) Maxwell of Reynolds, Danny (Lesa) Hale of Lafayette, and Hardie (Karen) Hale, Jr. of Rockfield. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, with Pastor Tom Camp officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Harvest Chapel.
