Ruth E. Michael, 90, of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at The Springs in Lafayette. She was born December 17, 1932, in Cloverdale, IN, to the late Morris and Julia (Sucterlin) Cline. On , August 5, 1950 she married Hilton Michael in Hendricks, IN and he preceded her in death.
Ruth enjoyed romance novels, game shows , lottery tickets, playing bingo, reading tabloids, horiscopes and attending family gatherings. She was very laid back and enjoyed relaxing with family.
Surviving are her children Clarence Michael of VA, Nancy Vaughn of Indianapolis, Patricia North of Bloomington and many grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by children Linda Michael, Robert Michael, Phillip Michael and Judy Watts. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd in Lafayette.
