On Wednesday evening, October 10th, Ruth Ann Deverall passed away quietly at her home in Lafayette, IN surrounded by her most loved craft supplies.
She was born on May 14, 1955 to Charles R. and Edana M. Deverall who preceeded her in death. She attended Harrison HS and worked at several customer and food service jobs, and most recently at Wabash Center. She is survived by four siblings: Jane Haan (Bob LeFevers), David Deverall (Connie), Margy Deverall (Jerry Hunley), Alice Brunk (Randy Brunk) and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Ruth Ann left her job as community cheer spreader to accept a new position with the bonus of getting to rejoin her mom and dad, grandparents and assorted other family members and friends. Her hobbies included crafting, shopping, and cooking (did we mention eating and drinking Diet Coke?). She enjoyed muscle cars, monster trucks, dancing, talking, perusing the aisles at Good Will and brightening any one’s day.
Visitation will be Saturday October 20, 2018 from 10-11am service to follow at 11am at Soller-Baker West Lafayette Chapel 1184 Sagamore Parkway West, West Lafayette. Officiating Rev. Brenda Burnworth. Interment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers her family would rather that you spend the day crafting something fun, with a friend, for someone you love. You will feel better and it will keep Ruth Ann’s creative spirit alive.
