Micah and Andrew, I was so very sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. Jerry and I have so many wonderful memories of spending time together with both of our families. My favorite stories of Bob are some of the pranks we pulled over on him while he worked as a security guard at the mall and his days with the Lafayette police. Jerry and I still remember the day Bob most likely had his first unofficial confrontation with a knife-wielding uninvited guest at our family gathering. Bob certainly lit up the room with his infectious smile and his flair for living life largely. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I’m so sorry to hear about Bob’s passing. My thoughts are with his family. Lots of fond memories of LPD and time he shared with John, as they were hired the same day and went to the Academy together. Strong bonds! What a nice guy – gone way too soon!

Bob, Tony, John “Big Daddy” Wells, and Steve (all LPD- went to the ILEA with Chris and I (WLPD) in 1987 (class 87-89). What a crew we were working nights across the River from each other in the late 80’s and early 90’s. Our group grows smaller as 3 are now serving the Lord and watching over us. Bob will be missed. My prayers for and condolences to his family. 🙏
