Robert L. McCloud, 73, of Monon, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at IU Health Arnett Hospital.
He was born November 5, 1947, in Lafayette, to Mary (Byers) McCloud of Lafayette and the late Alfred E. McCloud.
Robert graduated from Southwestern High School and attended Vincennes University.
On May 29, 2010, he married Cheryl (Kujawa) Keesling and she survives.
Robert worked as a dispatcher and truck driver for several years. He also worked at Frisch’s Big Boy and Burger King for many years before retiring.
Robert was proud of the his accomplishment on earning the rank of Eagle Scout, he enjoyed tormenting his family, mowing his yard, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He loved watching Purdue football and basketball.
Surviving along with his mother, Mary and wife Cheryl, are a sister, Sharon M. Paul of Lafayette, a grandson, Nathan Vallard of Francesville, nieces and nephews, Michelle (Brian) Ford of Oxford, Mathew (Sheila) Paul of Crown Point, Megan (Hunter) Kujawa of McBain, MI, Marisa (Muhammad) Kujawa of Royal Oak, MI, Curtis (Samantha) Kujawa of Gaylord, MI and Jacob Kujawa of Sterling Heights, MI, great nieces and nephews, Blake (Emily) Ford, Bailey (David) Hobbs, Ally Ford, Garet Paul, Devon Paul and Kise Kujawa, brother-in-law’s, Andrew (Colleen) Kujawa of Gaylord, MI and John (Stacey) Kujawa of Sterling Heights, MI, father and mother-in-law, Stanley and Kay Kujawa of Rudyard, MI.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Soller- Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, with Pastor Rick Ryan officiating.
