Robert Allen Haines, 81, of Mulberry, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.
He was born October 29, 1944, in Lafayette to the late Byrl and Roberta (Funk) Haines. Rob was a 1963 graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. He was a member of White Horse Christian Church.Rob worked in IT, Teaching and Learning Technologies, for Purdue University for over 35 years until his retirement in 2009.
He is survived by his nephew Dave (Gina) Haines of Lafayette and brother, John (Ruby) Haines; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Byrl and Roberta Haines, he was preceded in death by brothers, Carl (Helen) and Don (Mary Alice) Haines; sisters, Betty (Frank) Bossaer and Barbara (Don) Leach.
Graveside services will be held at West Point Cemetery at a later date.
