Robert A. Myers, 71, of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Franciscan Health  East.

He was born June 26, 1950, in Lafayette, Indiana, to the late James and Mary Bingham Myers.

Robert graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School and served in the US Army.

Robert began his career with the Monon Railroad in 1969 finally retiring with CSX Transportation in 2014. Robert worked as an Engineer for over 40 years.

He enjoyed trains, model trains, rail photography and the time he had with his family and friends.

Surviving are son, Craig A. (Olivia) Myers of Crawfordsville, son, Jason Dillon, of Lafayette, sister, Sandy Myers of Muncie.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and sister Carol Ann Myers

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday at Soller- Baker Funeral Home 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette.

Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Soller- Baker Funeral Home  400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette,  officiating.  Interment will be at Dayton Cemetery Dayton, IN.
