Richard W. Morgan, 67, of Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at St Mary’s Health Care, in Lafayette.

He was born October 2, 1956, in Lafayette, IN, to the late William and Ethel (Anstett) Morgan.

Richard was a 1975 graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School and attended Lincoln Tech in Indianapolis for 1 year.  On May 22, 1982, he married Deborah J.  Stookey at First Assembly of God in Lafayette and she survives.

Richard worked as a Laborer for Wabash National for the past 25 years. He enjoyed Metal Detecting and was a member of REACT- CB Radio Club, where he met Deborah.

Along with his wife, Deborah J. Morgan, son, James (Charity) Morgan, sister, Marjorie Effner of Terre Haute, sister, Maxine Chalmers of Westfield, sister, Nancy Morgan, Lafayette and granddaughter, Ava Gustin, grandson, Landon Gustin both of Lafayette.

Richard was preceded in death by brother, Raymond Morgan, father, William M. Morgan, mother, Ethel Morgan.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel 400 Twyckenham Blvd.   Lafayette.

Service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel 400 Twyckenham Blvd.   Lafayette, Pastor Jeff Closson officiating.  Interment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens West Lafayette, IN.
