I just saw this listing of Dick passing. I'm heart broken. I went to high school with Dick. I admired his desire to always become a better person and phenomenal track and football player. I know how much he loved his family and wife Judy. They were a great couple. I'm shocked I remember when the Jeff football coach asked me to play football. I had never played. First day of practice I attempted to tackle Dick as he shot through the line. I meant him head on. I still have the headache he gave me.. So long. Love to Judy and family God bless. Judy: My condolences to you and your family. May he Rest In Peace. To those of us who played football at Jeff with him, there is little doubt that he was Jeff’s G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) running back. Jack Walkey

A great guy and classmate. Prayers of sympathy and peace to the family. He was not only a great football player and track star, but was very good in basketball too although he did not pursue it. I was so impressed that while playing at Tecumseh Jr. High and being about 5’6” he could dunk the ball with ease. He had amazing talent.

Judy what a great class we had and Dick was a great part of it. When we played football I played safety and in practice Dick would always break through the line. I tried tackling him "once". He ran over me! He was such a great athlete. My only wish is that I would have liked to have see him before his passing Love and Blessings to you and your family.
