Deb (Peterson) Taylor left a message on July 7, 2011:
I am so sorry for your loss. I live in West Lafayette but was out of town and was unaware of his passing and did not return until too late for the visitation or funeral.

Richard is my cousin, but I had never met him until last year and we had started corresponding and visiting on genealogy issues. I also didn&t know my Aunt was living in Lafayette either until I met Richard. I had the opporturnity to visit with her a few times and saw her on her 100th birthday. The last time I was Richard was at his Mom&s funeral.

My father was Leonard Peterson and my mother was Hazel (Shields) Peterson.

Again, I am so sorry for your loss.

Kim Placek left a message on July 5, 2011:
Becki,

May you find peace and comfort in the memories of times and conversations shared with your dad and knowing the love that he had for you. Your beautiful, kind spirit is partially attributable to the guidance your dad provided to you throughout the years. It isn&t easy to adjust to life without a parent, but please be tender to yourself as healing takes time. I&m here for you, my friend, and will keep you close in my thoughts and prayers.

With love, - Kim Placek
Sandy Randel left a message on July 5, 2011:
Rosie called me Sunday to tell me the sad news that Dick had died. She had kept me up to date during the past months. I so enjoyed seeing him last October when Tony and I were in Lafayette. Dick and I had known each other since high school and while I hadn&t seen him often through the years, I still considered him a friend. I was so glad to hear that he was able to move back to Lafayette as I&m sure that is what he really wanted.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, the loved ones left behind.

Sincerely,

Sandy
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
