Quincy Scott Sutton, 22, of Lafayette, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013 at his home. He was born October 15, 1990, in Lafayette, to Joseph E. III and Julie Sutton of Lafayette. He graduated from McCutcheon High School in 2009, where he participated in baseball and football. He attended Indiana University and Ivy Tech. Quincy loved coaching youth baseball, refereeing youth football, spending time with his friends and watching movies. He loved all sports, was an enthusiastic Indiana University fan and lifelong UNC Tarheels basketball fan. Quincy's broad smile and big hugs will be greatly missed by all who know and love him. Surviving along with his parents are two sisters: Olivia A. Sutton and Zoe E. Sutton; a brother Aiden E. Sutton and grandparents Edward and Betty Rohler of Lafayette and Joe Jr. and Lucille Sutton of Battle Ground. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 6:00 pm Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am on Monday, September 9, 2013 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayette, IN 47909 with Rev. Chris Black officiating. Burial will be at St. Boniface Cemetery. Those wishing may contribute to the Quincy Sutton McCutcheon Baseball Mental Attitude Award.
