Lafayette, IN, died at 7:00
AM Tuesday December 6,
2011 at her residence.
She was
born August
31, 1927, in
Detroit, MI
to the late
Abraham
and Sarah
Zeco.
She graduated
from
High School
in Detriot, MI. On June
22,1948 she married George
A. Berman and he passed
away on August 15, 1991.
A member of the Sons of
Abraham Synagogue, she
was active in many functions
at the Synagogue.
She was formerly on
the St. Elizabeth Auxillary
Board and a Pink lady
Volunteer for many years at
St. Elizabeth Hospital. Pearl
was !rst a Mother, Grandmother,
Homemaker and
then an artist. She enjoyed
time spent with her family
and her grandchildren
Jessica, Jennifer, Rachael,
Moshe, Robert, Kayle and
Vivian.
Surviving are Daughters,
Risa Hodge husband
Richard- Canon City, CO
and Gale Krule husband
Bernard- Arlington Heights,
IL; Sons, Frank Berman
and Michael Berman, both
of West Lafayette, IN and
Steven Berman- Lafayette,
IN.
Funeral Service 1:30pm
Thursday at Soller-Baker
Lafayette Chapel, 400
Twyckenham Blvd. Rabbi
Audrey Pollack O””ciating.
Burial will be at Sons
of Abraham Cemetery in
Lafayette.
Preceded in death by
Husband, Two Daughtersin-
Law Elizabeth Mattingly
and Kimberly Berman, a
Sister Bella Hosay. In Lieu

We will miss Pearl a great deal. She was a very kind and selfless person who always had a smile and a kind word. It won&t be the same not seeing her sitting outside on warm days.
