Paula N. “Nicky” Danaher, 71, of Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Franciscan Health East.
She was born December 7, 1951, in Greencastle, to the late Vernard and Gerte Mae (Scott) Rush.
Nicky graduated from Columbus High School in 1969 and Porter Business College in Indianapolis in 1969.
On March 3, 1973, she married Michael C. Danaher and he preceded her in death on January 10, 2019.
Nicky worked as a secretary at Fairfield Manufacturing and Purdue University for several years.
She loved animals and supporting their organizations, flowers in her yard, crocheting, cross stitch and reading.
Surviving is a daughter, Jennifer Ann (Andrew) Blasky of Lafayette, a son, James A. Danaher of Cambria, two sisters, Pamela Rush and Sue (Ron) Klipsch both of Knoxville, TN. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Kirsten (Corey) Hammond, Morgan Danaher, Drew Blasky, and Zoe Blasky and two great grandchildren, Eli and Rose Hammond.
Nicky was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jasmine Danaher.
