Patrick P. “PAT’ Farrell 89 of Lafayette passed away on Tuesday Dec. 6,2016 at St. Anthony Health Care.
Born to the late Edward P. and Fern L. O’Connor Farrell in Lafayette. Pat attended Lafayette Schools and worked as a truck driver for the Teamsters local 135 for many years. Pat served in the US Army from 1947-1948 as a CPL., in the Medical Detachment 9957th.
He enjoyed fishing and boating on the Wabash river, hunting. A member of St Ann Catholic Church, American Legion Post #11.
Pat is survived by his daughter Patricia A. Melady of West Lafayette, sister, Margaret Switzer, Kate Herr both of Lafayette, Anna Ogden (Husband James) of Battleground, brother Richard Farrell (wife Donna) of Lafayette. His very close friend Alice Faust of Lafayette.
Visitation will be Monday December 12,2016 from 2pm-3pm followed by service at 3pm Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Burial at St Mary Cemetery. Fr. Dominic Young officiating.
