Patricia “Pat” Robin Waymire

Patricia Robin Waymire, 73, of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at IU Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette.

She was born December 9, 1952, in Indianapolis to the late Hugh C. and Gertrude V. (Hietala) Murphy. She was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. On August 24, 2002, she married Michael P. Waymire in Lafayette.

Patricia was co-owner of Pappy Mike’s BBQ, worked in Transportation Logistics at Sun Chemical and also worked at Rose Art. She was a member of the Lafayette Tennis Club.
She enjoyed sewing, crafting, and thrifting. She also enjoyed planting potted flowers, hosting family cookouts and gatherings and was a huge animal lover.

Along with her husband, Michael, she is survived by a daughter, Robyn Renee (Jonathon) Walsh of Indianapolis; 7 grandchildren, Austin Schnarr of Lebanon, Sydney Schnarr, Carson Walsh, Joss Walsh, Mason Walsh, Madison Walsh, and Marlee Wash, all of Indianapolis; a brother, Keith (Barbara) Murphy of Noblesville; sister-in-law, Linda Murphy; and 1st husband, James (Tina) Sutter of Griffin, GA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Gertrude Murphy; a son, James Chadwick “Chad” Sutter; and a brother Mike Murphy.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until time of Memorial Service at 3:00 pm, Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909.
