Patricia A. Corbin, 76, of Lafayette passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at her residence. Her parents were the late Clarence and Ella Cook. She married Edward Corbin January 12, 1980. He died June 21, 2005. God blessed them with a very large family, between them there were 11 children. Surviving children are John Corbin (Nancy) of Lafayette, Peggy Scott (Tim) of Lafayette, Sarah Seifers (Frank ) of Mulberry, Kenny Corbin of Lafayette, Ronald Corbin of Lafayette, Jeremy Corbin (Andrea) of Colfax, Jeff Corbin (Janet) of Dover, PA, Edward “Pete” Corbin (Phyllis) of Lafayette, James Corbin of Lafayette and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Eileen Roberts (companion Bruce Weaver) of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Deana Smith, Elizabeth Corbin, a sister, Kay Brinson and a brother, Sonny Cook. She worked at Purdue University for 10 years and Beutler Meats before retiring. Pat loved the lord with all of her heart, read the Bible and tried to do what was right. She loved taking care of her family, cooking and baking. She was a member of Wea Ridge Baptist Church and loved her church and her church family. Pat wanted to thank her son, Kenny, for taking such good care of her darling husband and herself for 30 years. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Friday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Service will be at 4:00 PM Friday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Wea Ridge Baptist Church in Patricia's memory. Interment will be next to her beloved husband at St. Mary Cemetery.
