Pamela B. Cordes, 58, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at St. Elizabeth East. She was born May 19, 1958, in Lafayette to the late Harold Becker and Joyce Justice. Pamela B. Cordes, 58, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at St. Elizabeth East. She was born May 19, 1958, in Lafayette to the late Harold Becker and Joyce Justice. Pamela graduated from McCutcheon High School in 1976 and on June 25, 1976 she married Craig Cordes in Lafayette and he survives. Pam worked as a Human Resource Administrator at ALCOA for 27 years and retired in 2008. She was a member of St Mary Cathedral. Pam enjoyed gardening, her Koi pond and was a University of Alabama fan. Surviving along with her husband are her children Jennifer A. Cordes, Michael G. Cordes all of Lafayette; sisters Dianna (Rob) Poindexter, Darla (Andy) Royer all of West Lebanon, Tricia (John) Ross, and a brother Randy Becker all of Lafayette. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. with Rosary at 4:45 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Mary Cathedral, Father Jeff Martin officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Mary School Building Fund.
