Oma Bunch, 88, of Lafayette, died at 7:27 PM Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Allisonville Meadows Nursing Home in Fishers. She was born September 20, 1924, in, Scott County, TN, to the late John and Louverna Daugherty Smith. Oma married Dilmer Bunch on February 8, 1946 in Oglethorpe, GA. He passed away December 14, 1990. Oma worked at Crown laundry for over 30 years retiring in 1986. She enjoyed gardening, but mostly enjoyed, spending time with her children, all her grand and great grand children. Surviving are her children, Betty Milligan (husband Jay) and Ed Bunch (wife Rebecca) both of Lafayette, Norma Milligan (husband Larry) of Carmel; sisters Venia Wilson (husband Truman) and Ethel Wallace (husband Earl); a brother Harold Daugherty all of Jacksboro,TN; grandchildren, Monica Richards (husband Grant), Jill Pinkerton (husband Jake), Michelle Smithson (husband Mike), Shawna Milligan, Joshua Brady, and Matthew Brady and fourteen great grand children. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a son Donald Bunch. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am on Saturday July 20, 2013 at Soller-Baker Lafayette chapel 400 Twyckenham Blvd Lafayette, IN 47909 with Rev. Joseph Park Jr. officiating. Entombment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Those wishing may contribute to Alzheimer's Research.
