Norma was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. She always had open arms to give a hug, a smile ready, and a heart full of love. She loved her family, her church, and her Lord and never tired of talking about them. I will miss her greatly, and look forward to seeing her again some day. The staff, residents and vounteers of the Indiana Veterans& Home will feel her absence physically, but her spirit will live on in our hearts. May Fleet and all the family have the comfort and peace of our loving Savior.

We were so sorry to learn of Aunt Norma&s accident and her death. We know she is in a much better place, and we celebrate her life and the love she spread to all of us. I carry the prayer card she gave us for Christmas one year in my wallet, and not only say a prayer but remember them both every time I see it. We&ll see you tomorrow.
Love and prayers, Harold and Linda

Fleet, Glenn, Morris, Steve and Stan -
Please know that our prayers and thoughts are with you and yours.
It will be exactly 2 years ago on June 28th that my sister Sue passed away.
But I know what she went through and she is now at peace and no longer in pain
I still miss her and I know you will miss your wife and Mom verymuch. But know that she and your Dad played a great part in their Sunday School classes.

Your Grieving Friend and Christian Sister - Anne Mecklenburg
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Dear Family Members,

It is with great sadness in my heart to hear of Norma&s death. She was a most special angel to me!! I loved her like a mother! I work in the Business Office at the Indiana Veterans& Home and have had the pleasure of meeting several of her sons. When I lost my husband on March 30, 2009, Norma was there for me to talk to and pray with me. It is my prayer that you know that she touched my life in many ways and that God will console you in this great time of sorrow. She will be truely missed!!! She was a shinning light at a dark time for me. Always remember that God is holding her in His loving arms. I wait for the day to see her once again! I send all my love and support to you all. I know how it feels to lose such a beloved member of your family. I also lost my mother in November 2005 and I do miss her so! Just as I will miss Norma!! God bless and keep all of you!

Sincerely,

Deb Hunt

To the Hankins Family,
I have known your wonderful mother for over 2 years at the Indiana Veterans Home and grew to love her very much.

She was so proud of all of you and talked about you all of the time.

I have also had the priveledge of knowing your father and Stan and Brenda. Stan and Brenda and I bonded because I used to live in Hawaii.

She loved you all so much and always knew that she too, was loved by all of you.

She was an inspiration to all who knew her.And I pray that I will always remember her and her wonderful relationship with you as I age and my children grow.

Thank you for sharing your parents with all of us.
May you know that you are in so many hearts and prayers and may that bring you at least some comfort as you celebrate the life of your terrific Mom!

Dear Hankins Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear about the death of Norma.
I know how difficult this time must be for your family.
Norma was such a kind, gentle soul. She genuinely cared about the happiness of others. Every time I would see her, she would give me a great big hug and ask me about my family and my school. Norma would say she could tell I was special by the ?sparkle? in my smile, but really it was she that sparkled. Norma lightened up the day of everyone she spoke to. Residents and staff alike, of the Indiana State Veteran?s Home, loved and cared for her as family. For the three years I have known her, Norma showed courage and faith unlike anyone I have ever met before. Her devotion has been inspiring. My memories of her are treasures that undoubtedly will be cherished.
May God bless you and your family during this time and always,
Maria Moschinger

I will greatly miss Norma&s smile and presence here at the Veterans& Home. She always remembered me as being one of those who helped her and Norman be admitted out here. It was my privilege to have been of service to her and Norman and I hope I helped make the transition from their home to the Indiana Veterans& Home a smooth one.

She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone she met or came in contact with but I know I will meet her again someday when it is my turn to go Home. If there is anything I can do to help make this time go a little easier, please don&t hestitate to contact me.

Sincerely,
Rose Daniels
