Nicole Elise Stovall

Nicole E. Stovall (nee Max) 52 was born Christmas Night 1973 on Hahn Air Base in Western Germany and passed from this earth on September 06, 2026, at Home surrounded by family after a lengthy battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 33 years Bryan, Children: Megan, Chance (Olivia) & Cayden; her Mother Judy Anderson; Father Robert “Bob” Max; Brother Michael (Tycie) Max and numerous extended family members and friends.

Nicole spent her early years living in Wichita Falls TX, where she later met Bryan in High School. After marrying, they moved to Lafayette, IN to start and raise a family. Nicole was a proud stay-at-home Mom who began her own at home day care business helping parents love, nurture, and care for their children as well as her own.  Her second career came after taking a part-time job at Purdue Federal Credit Union where it quickly turned into a full-time position as a Contact Center Rep and later a Virtual Branch Advisor for over 12 years until the cancer forced her to concentrate on her health full-time. Nicole quickly made lifelong friends with many coworkers and clients alike.

Nicole was a proud member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Lafayette IN for 26 years. Her faith in Christ sustained her throughout her life, guided by Faith, Hope & Love. Nicole was a sweet spirit that warmed everyone she met, her light and smile lit up every room she walked into and had a contagious joy that seeped out of every pore.  Her family finds comfort in words that now feel especially fitting:

“And now these three remain: Faith, Hope, and Love. But the greatest of these is Love.”          1 Corinthians 13:13

A Celebration of Life & Love will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 19^th, 2026, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Lafayette IN. A link for the live stream option is below:
