Nellie L. Stewart, 91, of West Lafayette, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Heritage Health Care.  She was born April 29, 1930, in Lafayette to the late Clarence and Laura (Grimes) Morrison.  Nellie had attended Lafayette Jefferson High School.   She enjoyed flower gardening, visiting friends, church work, NASCAR and had attended Lafayette Church of Christ.   Surviving is her daughter Sandra (Don) Coghill of Delphi, IN, eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  Also surviving are her siblings Paul (Shirley) Morrison of Tucson, AZ, and Evelyn Davenport of Lafayette.  Nellie was preceded in death by her sons Jeff and Vincent Stewart, sisters Edna Turner, Rosemarie Fink and Carolyn Bratz.

Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until the time of the service at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd.  Interment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette.
