Nathan Allen Krengle, 25, of Westpoint, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

He was born May 9, 1998, in Lafayette, and graduated from McCutcheon High School in 2017.

Nathan worked in the paint department at SIA. His passion was racing and gaming to win. Nathan was loyal to Krengle Motorsports, his derby team, his friends and family.

Surviving is his father, Allen Lee (wife Chris) Krengle of Lafayette, mother, Patty (husband Todd) Vandermay of Lafayette, a sister, Stacy (husband Garth) Golleher of Lafayette, a brother, Zachary Houser of Lafayette, two stepsisters, Stephanie (husband Mitch) Ply of Zanesville, OH, and Erika Wright of Lafayette, Godfather, Eddie Martin of Lafayette, and Godmother, Tammy Renick of Lafayette.

Also surviving are his nieces, nephews, cousins and extended families from the track, work and beyond.

Nathan was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A gathering of friends and family will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, IN 47909.

Still having a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact that you are gone Nate! I feel so privileged to say that I got to know you your whole life! From that cute curly headed boy that loved his binky so much that he would dive head first into his mom's purse to get, because even then you were cooler than you realized and didnt want us to see that you needed it, to the absolutely amazing man that you grew in to.
