Naoma Daniel

Naoma L. Daniel, 81, of Lafayette, died at 1 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 27, 1928, in Lafayette, and was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Chrystal VonHolt Hilt.
Her marriage was to Paul Daniel. They later divorced.
She was a member of Eagles Lodge and enjoyed playing bingo and doing word puzzles..
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Eberhart, and two sons, Ron Daniel and Dale Daniel (wife: Janice), all of Lafayette.
Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her companion of 25 years Robert Young, 2 sisters and a brother.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, at Clarks Hill Cemetery, the Rev. Steven Johnson officiating.

I was so sorry to hear about Naoma. It has been a couple years since I last saw her. I remember the good old days and all the times when she, Paul & the kids use to come to our house. They used to play cards with Mom & Dad and us kids would play upstairs. I think they used to always come on New Years Eve to celebrate with us. Naoma was always one of the most sweetest and most loving persons I&ve ever met. I want to tell Linda, Ronnie & Dale that I&m so sorry they&ve lost their Mom and that they will always be in our thoughts and prayers.
