She was born January 23, 1948, in Lafayette, IN, to the late George and Betty Dukes.
On September 15, 1967 she married William Silver in Jacksonville, FL. He Survives
Nancy was an administrative assistant for Tippecanoe County Court Services .
She was a member Trinity United Methodist Church

She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, traveling, working, and spending time with family. Nancy was also an avid Colts fan.

Patty Vandermay, Daughter, Husband Todd, of Lafayette
Barbara Rupel, Sister, Brookston
Marilyn Jackson, Sister, husband Denny of Lafayette
George Dukes, Brother, wife Victoria of FL
Cindy Houseman, Sister, husband Norm of Lafayette.

Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. As well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service October 3, 2011 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel
Funeral Service at
Rev. Paul Arnold officiating.
Burial will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette .

My deepest sympathies and prayers are with you. I worked with Nancy at Andover and thought she was one of the most remarkable women I know. She was dedicated to her family and her job. She will truly be missed.
