Nancy Carol Lamb, 78, of Clarks Hill, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 9, 2023 at Franciscan Health East.
She was born September 16, 1944, in Lafayette, to the late Lloyd and Susan (Lewis) Stacey.
Nancy grew up in Otterbein and graduated from Montmorenci High School in 1962.
Nancy married Eddie “Ed” Lee Lamb on April 20, 1963. They were married at the Otterbein Methodist Church. Ed preceded her in death on October 26, 2022.
Nancy worked at the Clarks Hill Elementary School, Purdue University and as a home health aide until her retirement.
She was a member of Clarks Hill Christian Church and enjoyed square dancing with her husband. She was an avid music lover and collector of Elvis Presley memorabilia. She loved to cook and was happiest when hosting her many friends and family.
Surviving are her children, Tammy Scott of Clarks Hill, Mark “Tony” (wife Jennifer) Lamb of Fishers and Toby (wife Pamela) Lamb of Lafayette as well as a brother, Jim (wife Sally) Stacey of Otterbein. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Natisha (husband David), Tyler, Taylor, Ryan, Madeline, Parker, Nate and many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill, Dick, Donny and Danny (Boone) Stacey.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, with Pastor Nic Lawrence officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Clarks Hill Christian Church.
