Nadine M. (Stoike) Roush, 68, of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Franciscan Health East.
She was born on September 25, 1957, in Villa Park, IL, to the late Donald and Roberta (Foulis) Stoike.
Nadine received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Purdue University.
On December 17, 1977, she married Jan A. Roush and he survives.
Nadine worked as a teacher for the Lafayette School Corporation for 38 years before retiring in 2020.
She was a member of St. Mary Cathedral and was active in Blessed Threads at the church.
Nadine enjoyed knitting, history, reading and traveling to state parks with Jan.
Surviving with her husband, Jan A. Roush of Lafayette, are her siblings, Kathy Stoike of Lafayette, David (Tammy) Stoike of Dayton, Alison Stoike of Lafayette and Roxanne Raab of Indianapolis. Also surviving are four nephews, a niece and three great nephews.
Visitation will be from 9:30 until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at St. Mary Cathedral, 1207 Columbia Street Lafayette, with Father Ted Dudzinski officiating.
