Morris M. Taylor, 69, of Lafayette, IN, died at 3:24 AM, Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Indiana University Health Lafayette. He was born March 8, 1945, in Riverside, IN, to the late Noel Clyde and Gladys Mickle Taylor. He graduated from Pine Village High School, class of 1963 and from Rudae's School of Cosmetology in 1965. Morris was the owner and operator of Taylor Hair Design in Lafayette for many years. Surviving is his sister Ruth Lewis (DeVonne) of Merrillville, brother Chauncey Taylor (Nancy) of Attica, sister Ava Moody of Attica, brother George Taylor (Fran) of Williamsport, sister Norma Taylor of Indianapolis, sister Judy Fuller (Terry) of Battle Creek, Michigan. Also surviving are sisters-in-law Carolyn A. Taylor and Madge M. Taylor both of Lafayette, numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends. Morris enjoyed antiquing, card playing, bowling and golf. He was an avid fan of Purdue Women's Basketball. Memorial visitation will be Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. followed by a 4:00 P.M. memorial service at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Officiating will be his sister, Rev. Judith Fuller. Morris was preceded in death by sisters Pat Sellers and Bernice Buck, brothers Jim Taylor and Charles L.Taylor.
