Mildred F Fultz, 92, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at IU Arnett Hospital. She was born August 5, 1925, in Coloma to the late John and Grace Phillips Richardson. On August 11, 1947, she married Charles Fultz in Lafayette and he preceded her in death on February 24, 1989. She had been a member of Hope Chapel Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School for over 30 years. Mildred later became a member of Community Reformed Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible, puzzles books, cooking and visiting with family and friends.
Surviving are her children Charlene (Bailey) Covington of Lafayette, Deborah (Alan) Thompson of Battle Ground and Charles Fultz, Jr. of Lafayette. Also surviving are her grandchildren Mandy Thompson, Sarah Thompson, Cassandra (Andrew) Borders, great grandsons William and Kaleb Borders and several nieces and nephews. Mildred was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters Dorothy, Lavern, Paul, Arthur, Wayne, John, Frank, Catherine, Earl, Hubert, Leon and Ethel.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 19, 2018, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Interment will be at Spring Vale Cemetery in Lafayette.
