Michael Dennis Jackson

Michael Dennis Jackson age 43 of West Lafayette, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on Sunday morning at his home.
Born in Lafayette, he was the beloved son of Debbie Blackburn and Joan and Dennis Jackson. He attended Harrison High School where he graduated in 2001.
He was a member of Local 274 Laborers Union and worked for WW Construction.
Mike loved getting out on his motorcycle and enjoying the freedom of a good ride. He could spend countless hours fishing and playing video games. He had a deep love of music. If there was a karaoke microphone nearby, you could bet, Mike would grab it and sing his heart out. He loved to have fun, loved to laugh, and most of all he showed up for the people in his life. Although out of all the things Mike accomplished in his short time on earth, being a dad was what he was most proud of.
Mike is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Jackson (Zayne Kassinger) of McGregor, Iowa; Bonus daughter Kayleigh Owsley (Zack Hamm) of DeMotte, Indiana; Mom Debbie Blackburn of Lafayette, Indiana; Mother Joan Jackson (Ronnie Wolf) of West Lafayette, Indiana; Sister Amber Hale (Chris) of Brookston, Indiana; Aunt Terri Spencer (Robert) of West Lafayette, Indiana; along with countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is proceeded in death by his father Dennis Jackson, and Cousin Bradley Spencer.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Michael’s name may be given to his daughter Elizabeth to assist with expenses.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm, Friday, September 4, 2026, at Soller-Baker, Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN 47909.
Interment will follow at Spring Vale Cemetery, 2580 Schuyler Ave, Lafayette, IN 47905.
