I just loved Matt. Him and I dated twice. We were probably on the verge of dating a third! These pictures were on a trip to Wisconsin we took together. He was such a great guy. We were always good friends and kept in touch often. Im so sorry to hear of this and I hope the family is doing better and he is resting in peace. My cell is 317.331.5948 if anyone would like more recent pictures of him.

We have so many wonderful memories of fun times spent with Matt and his lovely children from our early years at St. Matthew. He was actually kind enough to watch our kids and dogs when we took a kids-free trip to New Orleans a couple of years ago. We loved him and are so very sorry for your loss. No words can bring you comfort but I hope you know that Matt was loved by many.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

“Words seem so feeble in moments like these. Life is so precious, and death such a thief. The depth of your pain I cannot comprehend, but I’ll stand alongside you in the darkness, my friend. Love is a bond that death cannot part. Gone from your arms, but still held in your heart” – John Mark Green

I’m so sorry for your loss. Matt was always such a sweetheart growing up. I remember how, in pre-school, all the other little boys were jealous of his “cool, spiky hair.” There is also no one else I would have rather sat next to in the Christmas Parade- Matt will always be my Snow Prince. When we voted for the Snow Prince that year, our teacher told us all to vote for the nicest, kindest person… the one we knew would always do the right thing and be a friend when we needed them. Matt won by a landslide. I haven’t spoken to him in years, but I know he will be missed by so many.

Cindy, Ron, Sarah and family So sorry to see Matt’s obit in today’s J&C. I remember the days when you had The Dugout in Otterbein and the happy days we had back then…Matt was a bit younger than Kyle so not on the same baseball team but still good times. Losing a child is the hardest thing to do in this life. Remember the good times with Matt and keep those memories in your heart; smile whenever you say his name. Take care. Gale & Denny
