Mary W. Poulos, 70, of West Lafayette, died at 4:35 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011, at University Place in West Lafayette.
She was born April 22, 1940, in Noblesville to the late Joe K. and Eleanor Berhalter White.
She married Dr. James T. Poulos on June 22, 1963, in Noblesville. He survives.
She attended Tufts University and received her B.A. from Boston University in 1963 in Education.
Mary was the president of White Croft Farms in Hamilton County for the past several years. She enjoyed horses, wildlife, dogs, cats, boating and snow and water skiing.
Surviving along with her husband is a son, Dr. Christopher K. Poulos of Milwaukee, Wis., and two sisters, Sarah Holtkamp (husband: Tom) of Noblesville and Helen Yoder (husband: Doug) of Sharpesville.
There will be private family services. Those wishing may contribute to the American Cancer Society or Almost Home Humane Society.
