To Ron and the Shonkwiler Family: Monica and I would like to express our deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother, grandmother and sister. Ron I do not know if you remember me I used to live on Holloway their are apartments on the land we use to own. I ran with Lydia as kids and your mom used to come down to our house and show my sister Linda Weger (passed March 8, 2007) how to bake homemade cherry, strawberry and strawberry-rubarb pies. Lydia and I use to pick the cherries from the cherry trees and pick the strawberries from the strawberry patch which was near the rubarb patch. I have some great memories of your folks how we all were invited over to have homemade icecream and we each took turns in churning the icecream. I especially remember the fire and how they found the dog nudged up to the seam of the door and the tears we shed. Anytime I came home I use to go visit your folks and had a great time. I remember going to my wedding rehearsal and was in a suit and blew a tire I was just down the road from your folks house and pulled up your dad came out and said go in and have a seat I&ll take care of this you don&t need to get dirty. My love for your folks is something I will cherrish forever. Know that I will keep Dick and Mary in my heart always and that your family will always be in our prayers. Monica and I lost our son Pfc. Timothy J. Seamans, US Army, Killed in Action on August 18, 2005 in Samarra, Iraq; my niece Cathy Weger Dalhenburg passed away on July 15, 2006 and my sister Linda Weger Shoemaker passed away on March 8, 2007; those 18 months were very hard for our family, but I can tell you this they are in a far greater place than us and one day I look forward to joining them in God eternal glory. May God bless you and Keep you, may He shine His everlasting life upon you always.

Mary,

Thank you for all you did for me while growing up. I never considered you as just my baby sitter, but you knew that. I always had a place in my heart for you and Dick. Going fishing when I was a kid in Kentucky will always stick in my head. Potato soup, made with only onions will be my favorite. Ha! I&ll miss you, but I know you&re at peace now and enjoying your time with Dick.

I&ll always love you,
Michael.
